THE CHALLENGE
After purchasing Uncle Marty’s from his former employer, Clark and his wife Codey faced the unique challenge of honoring the legacy of an Ithaca staple while making the brand his own. The existing website felt a tad plain and didn't fully reflect the energy Clark wanted to bring to the business. He needed a digital presence that could bridge that gap: maintaining the trust of long-term locals while modernizing the interface to better serve the massive, tech-savvy student population at Cornell University.
THE RESULT
I led a full website redesign that modernized the look and feel of the brand without losing its community-focused soul. To help Clark and Codey grow, I prioritized their core student services, making things like Storage and Moving services more accessible to the Cornell crowd. By filling in the gaps in their technical SEO, I helped achieve a significant boost in organic search traffic.
